OutCider Festival

1st - 4th August 2024

OutCider Festival is an old school, no nonsense weekend of fantastic live music, cider and madness in the Mendip hills just south of Bristol.

No tribute bands. No X-Factor. No Carling lager. No tossers!

OutCider Festival features 35+ acts over two alternating, barn-covered stages. The mix of music is eclectic, energetic and definitely not anything mainstream. The camping field is lush and spacious and we welcome live-in vehicles.

We pride ourselves on a fun, inclusive atmosphere and many people return every year to be part of the big Fuelled By Cider family. We’d love to see you there too.

See our Facebook page for scores of positive reviews, plus photos, festival news and updates.

Q: How many stages and acts will be at OutCider Festival?

There will be two stages – The Shearing Shed & The Agricultural Shed. Both are large barns so whatever the weather you will have a dry, comfortable music experience. There will be over 30 acts playing on the two stages. The stages are very close together and each stage will alternate so you can see all the fantastic acts we have lined up.

As well as the live music there will be a bar serving the best local ciders, ales & a selection of spirits and soft drinks. Food will be served by Fernhill Farm throughout the festival starting each day with a great breakfast menu and then moving on to some hearty meals and snacks, of which most will have been grown or reared on the farm.

Q: Will there be vegetarian and vegan food?

There will be a good choice of vegetarian food with vegan options available. All the vegan / vegetarian food is prepared separately from the other food.

Q: Can we bring our own food and drink to OutCider?

You may bring a reasonable amount of your own food and drink for personal consumption on the campsite but only food and drink purchased at OutCider may be consumed in the festival area. No Glass bottles will be allowed onto the site – this includes food jars/containers. Supporting the bar is vital to keeping ticket and bar prices down. Personal alcohol limits on entry to campsite are 12 cans beer/cider or 3 litres of wine/cider (boxes only).

Q: Is parking included?

The cost for parking will be £10 per vehicle. We would encourage you to travel with as many people as safely possible in one vehicle – it is better for the environment you know :). Car parking money is invested into Fernhill Farm’s eco projects.

Q: Does OutCider allow Camper Vans or Caravans?

Yes, you can bring your Camper Van or Caravan. There are no electrical/water hook ups and you will have to pay for a live-in vehicle. A steward will direct you to the area reserved for this. CARS ARE NOT A LIVE IN VEHICLE, if you do not have a tent or a live vehicle (Campervan/Caravan/Trailer Tent) you will be refused entry without refund.

Q: Are there good toilet facilities and showers?

There are plenty of flushing toilet & urinals supplemented by compost loos in the main arena. There are no facilities for emptying porta-potties.

Q: Do you take credit cards & is there an ATM?

Unfortunately the answer to these questions are both no. Only cold hard cash will be accepted at the festival and due to the remote location and size of the festival it is not feasible to install an ATM. You can buy your tickets online in advance with credit/debit cards.

Q: Where can we smoke?

Smoking is only permitted in the outside areas as per UK law. Both stages are undercover so you will need to step outside to partake in smoking your pipe/cigarette/shisha. Remember to use the ash-trays provided as butts all over the floor is neither pretty nor healthy to the soil.

Q: Are there medical facilities on site?

OutCider is staffed by trained first-aiders and there is a fast local first response for any serious health issues.

Q: Can we bring our dogs?

Fernhill Farm is a working farm with lots of animals around and they do not allow any other animals to be brought onto the farm so no dogs are allowed.

Make it stand out.
